Keeping with the “songs from some time ago” theme I started last week, this is another song which has me squealing along when I listen to it (you’ll understand why when you hit “play”).
I was introduced to “The Cinematic Orchestra” after visiting the medieval market in Ă“bidos one night, years ago. I was sleeping over at a friend’s in Baleal and she said their music was one she could relax to.
I’ve heard say a couple of times that the only constant thing in the world is change itself. It’s been quite a few years since I last heard from my friend and the album she showed me at the time doesn’t remind me of her any more. So many things have changed since those days, perhaps even I have. Yet, I agree that you can relax to these songs. Listening to the sounds and their words doesn’t take me back in time, it just lets me sink into the present and how I feel about it. I do want to build a home, to be a home, to be a place where I don’t feel alone.
Thanks for your time.
By the cracks of the skin I climbed to the top
I climbed the tree to see the world
When the gusts of wind came to blow me down
I held on as tightly as you held onto me
I held on as tightly as you held onto me
